This four-room suite is decorated in a distinctive mountain theme. It features Indian art, wood carvings and decorations that give the room a genuine mountain feel.
The suite has vintage heart pine flooring that was originally installed in 1920 and carefully refinished in 2007. It also has the original plaster design walls and ceilings with a hand-made texture from when the house was originally built as a hotel. These were also restored in 2007 after being covered for many years.
The Prairie Edge Suite features:
A continental breakfast in your own kitchen.
A large living room with a private entrance from a covered porch with long range mountain views.
Also in the living area, a queen-size sleeper sofa and exquisite decor including wooden tables and log lamps built by a 70-year-old Amish man. It has a natural gas fireplace.
Cable TV in living room and bedroom (with free HBO). DVD player on every TV with library of movies for adults and children.
A private bedroom with a king-size pillow top mattress on an Amish built log bed.
